One of my absolute favorite wine bars. You feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and all the cheeses and meats and truffles are to die for. The perfect date night spot!

Great little wine bar. Rustic setting with some outdoor seating as well. Huge wine selection and beautiful cheese and meat boards. You choose what cheese and meat you want and how many of each so totally customizable. Bread they serve with it is perfect, crusty on the outside and light in the inside. They also serve beer. Wine can be ordered by the glass or bottle and in either 3 or 5 (I think those are the two options) ounce portions. Highly recommend.

Funky and fun. Wine, cheese, charcuterie were all glorious. The fabulous antiques are from the original antique business that previously occupied this space. Happy 16th anniversary. It is no wonder that they have been so popular as a must go location on King Street.

This little place is a gem! The charcuterie board was so good!! The waitress was very informative! The only complaint is the chairs were a little uncomfortable but still not enough to take a star! Highly recommend!

This might be my favorite restaurant in all of Charleston. If you love cheese, this place is paradise! The cheeses here are really amazing quality— I cannot explain how much I enjoyed them. The staff was really knowledgeable about all the cheeses and was able to make strong recommendations based on our preferences. The boards come with plenty of fresh bread so it was actually quite filling rather than just an appetizer. We got 2-3 items between 2 people. I’d say the average price of one cheese is 12-13, with the most expensive being 20. The place is super cute with two lovely tables outside and two more inside by the windows. We really had an amazing experience here and came back for more. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Charleston.

We had gone walking down the long stretch of the street on Easter and were struggling to find a bathroom. So we came in and offered to buy something to use their bathroom. The Lady working there (Mrs L.) was very nice and helpful. We were told we didn’t have to buy anything and she just let us go. She proudly proclaimed they had the cleanest bathroom in the city and informed us she cleans it every hour. She also informed us The Charleston Place has massive bathrooms but they dont have a sign. The place has great atmosphere and a good amount of history in it(Lots of art pieces as well). If I did drink wine it would be here.

pricey wine bar! the wine options were expansive, and there were light charcuterie bites (think meat and cheese). i was quite surprised to see slices of prosciutto for 20. coming from nyc, i thought this was pretty pricey. this is a good spot to get a drink w a loved one but maybe only one drink. it’s not very cozy because the space is quite big and doesn’t fill up with people but still very quaint and cute.
